Perri

Perri, our office manager, has been a Veterinary Nurse since 2007 and is the only qualified stem cell technician in this part of the state.

She is the hub around which the vets, patients, clients and other staff at the clinic revolve around. She is our chief organiser and somehow remembers every person, dog, cat and rat that comes in through the doors.

Perri has 3 wonderful dogs at home – her staffy Freddie who was brought into the clinic as a stray at 8 weeks old, Sassy who has recently had a DNA test done and is officially a Wolfhound X Great Dane X Boxer, and Baby staffy Willow who was the flower girl at Perri’s wedding.

Kylie

Kylie has been at the clinic as a Veterinary Nurse since 1995, and is our longest standing employee. She is famous for her racing Greyhounds and her success on the track has been through the dogs Princess Honcho and Awesome Partner, or more recently Romba and Cool Fusion.

Kylie is married to Wes and they have settled on the outskirts of Orange with the patter of little feet heard throughout the house. These include her fifty or so greyhounds, rescue Wolfhound Mango and her children Chelsea, Riley and Noah.

She is our head vet nurse and also looks after Tafe vet nursing and school students.

Laura

Laura has been a practicing Veterinary Nurse since 2011, spending time here in Orange and in Canberra where she gained valuable experience in dental procedures. Since joining our clinic in September 2016, Laura has been one of our senior nurses and is passionate about dental procedures and helping you look after your pet’s teeth.

Her love for animals started after her family relocated to the Central West when she was young. Her menagerie of animals include two Border Collies – Ruby and Bailey, Izzy the tabby cat and her 2 Guinea Pigs Tank and Biggie Smalls.

Outside of work Laura loves gardening, wine, yoga, renovating her house, and generally being outdoors.

Hannah

Hannah grew up in the Southern Highlands on an olive farm, which started her passion for agriculture and animals. She followed this passion into University where she earned a Bachelor in Agricultural Business Management and Master in Agriculture Teaching. She also spent 2.5 years in Longreach working as a Jillaroo on properties with cattle, sheep and horses. One of her Kelpies is actually a full trained working dog (the other one definitely isn’t!)

Hannah joined the CFPH team in 2021 when she made the leap into the veterinary field, but with 2 Moodles, 2 Kelpies and 2 farm cats she is no stranger to furry friends.

In her spare time Hannah plays Cricket, AFL and Basketball, enjoys getting crafty, and is designing and building her own home.

Chloe

Chloe grew up on the Sunshine Coast but it was when her family moved to Blayney in high school that her love of animals was ignited. At home she has 4 English Staffordshire Bull Terriers – Clifford, Cleo, Kenny, and token albino Albert, a small flock of sheep, and her 3 siblings (Chloe is actually a triplet!).

Chloe joined us 2019 as a TAFE Veterinary Nursing Student, but as of 2020 she is a fully qualified, part time Vet Nurse here at CFPH. Outside of work she loves going water skiing at Carcoar Dam, playing soccer, camping, and socialising out and about in B-town (Blayney).

Emily

Emily joined the Canobolas Family Pet Hospital family beginning of 2022 and has been working in reception and communications.

Emily has previous experience in team management and customer relations, and has also done animal studies and captive animal training at TAFE.

Emily is an Orange local who comes from a farming background, spending weekends at her grandparents farm helping with the livestock. At home Emily owns 2 dogs and is no stranger to handling animals.

Outside of work Emily can be found socialising with her friends or playing with her dogs.

Bec

Bec has been with us since June 2021 working as a trainee vet nurse. She is on track to graduate from her Certificate 4 Veterinary nurse course from TAFE in 2023.This isn’t Bec’s first qualification though – she also has a bachelor's degree in Marine and Wildlife biology.

This is Bec’s first time working in a vet clinic, and she is looking forward to applying the knowledge from her degree to her career as a vet nurse.

At home Bec has 2 cats of her own – Rocky and Sweetie, as well as her son Max.

Justice

Justice started at the clinic in February 2023. She had grown up around the Orange area on farm land at Forest Reefs. Justice is no stranger when it comes to animals, for the past 5 years she has been raising potty calves, sheep and cattle.

She also currently has 7 dogs named Cali, Meg, Pippa, Jen, Cass, Molly, Georgie and 3 cats named Chester, Bonnie and Kevin. Justice has made her first dive into the animal industry at the clinic here and is looking to study Veterinary nursing in the future.

Outside of work, Justice enjoys socialising with her friends, playing with her animals and is also in the process of training a few of her kelpies.

Pam

Pam is a member of the Australian Pet Dog Trainers Association, a qualified dog trainer with a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Studies (Dog Training and Behaviour), is the owner of Orange Pet Dog Training, and teaches our regular puppy classes here at the clinic. Her passion is to help owners to have well behaved puppies and dogs and to enjoy their time together.

Pam has owned dogs her entire life, growing up on a property near Cooma, and over the past ten years has been very involved in both classes and private consultations in dog training. In recent years Pam has also had a dog sitting service and has recently started a grooming business at home.
